The Christmas tree stump is a modern interpretation of the classic French dessert Buche de Noël, which symbolizes the Christmas tree stump. This traditional dessert originates from 19th-century France, where burning a specially selected tree stump in the fireplace was once part of the holiday ceremonies.
Over time, the trunk was replaced by a dessert whose shape refers to this tradition. Our version is a refined composition of delicate caramel mousse based on Belgian caramel chocolate, combined with poppy seed sponge cake and a refreshing cranberry fruit insert.
The whole thing is based on a crunchy walnut base and finished with red suede and edible gold, bringing elegance and modern style to your holiday table.
