We have several important reasons to be proud. Living in these times and in an era of climate catastrophe, we go beyond patterns and change for Mother Earth and for you, those who consciously look to the future. Changes always happen in small steps, and so it was with us.

Climate change is already a tangible problem that affects each and every one of us. Each and every one of us has the strength to do our part and help reduce the effects of these changes. Some time ago, we decided to take up the proverbial gauntlet. We will tell you below what has changed for us and how proud we are that we have reached this point.

Batida guests can buy surplus food that is left after each day cheaper in the applications foodsi.pl ​​and toogoodtogo.pl . The applications allow for the maximum reduction of food losses, while properly optimizing the purchases of goods needed to produce them .

2. SALES FORECAST

Sustainable and manual production process – over the years we have managed to develop an appropriate, effective sales forecast that predicts the least possible losses from the produced dishes.

3. Seasonality and locality.

Our menu is based on seasonal and local products, which allows us to, among other things, reduce the carbon footprint created by the transport of raw materials needed to produce our dishes.

4. BIODEGRADATION

In boutiques in Warsaw and Konstancin, we offer takeaway lunches in packaging made from plants that can be biodegraded.

5. LESS WASTE

The products you will find in the Delikatesy collection are 80% packed in glass or biodegradable packaging . We pack your takeaway purchases in paper bags.

6. BATIDA IS DOG FRIENDLY

Every guest can come to our boutiques with their pet , we have a bowl of water for them, shade under an umbrella in our garden and animal-friendly employees.

7. ALLOY PLASTIC

We use glass and paper straws and wooden cutlery. We serve takeaway coffee in biodegradable cups.

8. #ZEROWASTE

At Batida, Head Pastry Chef, Mira Bogucka, and Executive Chef, Marzena Hajn, use the products until the very end.

Examples: we make bread crumbs from our own bread, we prepare vegetable broth from stored vegetable peelings.

Living in awareness allows us to not only live healthily, but also introduce changes and shape the environment around us. With small steps and joint forces, we want to participate in further changes .
